Information the workspace stores
The workspace stores the account details needed to sign in, access status, profile preferences, subject selections, study plans, attempts, saved facts, bookmarks, drafts, grades, support conversations, and materials you upload or create.
How the information is used
The information is used to operate your workspace, preserve progress, personalise study planning, provide requested AI features, protect accounts, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.
AI processing
When you request extraction, explanation, outlining, or grading, the relevant article text, image, prompt, or draft may be sent to a third-party AI service to produce that result. Processing is limited to the material required for the feature, and AI-generated output is labelled inside the product.
Community contributions
Posts, answers, display names, study focus, optional city, study-partner availability, circle membership, and weekly circle check-ins are visible to other signed-in users where the feature requires it. Helpful marks, saves, connection requests, notifications, and reports are stored to operate the network. Email addresses remain private. Reported content and moderation decisions may be retained as needed to enforce the community rules and protect users.
Community AI briefs
When a signed-in user requests an AI discussion brief, the post, its published answers, helpful counts, accepted-answer status, and supplied source link are sent to the configured AI provider. Briefs are cached against that exact discussion version to avoid repeated processing and are regenerated when the discussion changes.
Service providers
The service relies on infrastructure providers for database storage, file storage, hosting, email, and AI processing. They receive only the data needed to provide their service and process it under their own security and privacy terms.
Analytics and advertising measurement
The public website uses analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Google Analytics and Meta Business Tools, to understand visits, attribute account signups, and improve campaigns. These providers may receive browser, device, page, campaign, and conversion information through cookies, pixels, or server-side events under their own privacy terms.
Retention and control
Study data is retained while the account remains active or as needed to operate and secure the service. Account holders can delete their account inside the Android app or submit a deletion request at zehaanat.com/delete-account. Deletion removes the account and associated personal study data, except limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Security
The service uses protected sessions, restricted server-side access, and encrypted connections in production. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so account credentials should not be shared.
